Covid Life

I can’t believe I haven’t posted anything here since my trip to Peru. I wish I had as there was plenty to cover before we all got hit with the incredible news about the coronavirus.  I’ll have to save that for another blog when the world returns to ‘normal’ – if and when.

More recently though, as we all have to get out and get some air/walk out dogs/shop, there’s a new landscape we’re seeing. For the planet, it’s a good thing; clearer skies, no planes, not much car or foot traffic. There’s definitely an air of armageddon and yet it’s beautiful out there. Not sleeping so well these days has seen us down at the beach for sunrise more than a few times. One upside to rising earlier than I’d like! I hope you are all staying safe and healthy, social distancing and are becoming Zoom experts, like I have. Strangely I almost feel more connected with people these days than in the days prior to us all having to stay inside.  We’re living history, so documenting it is the thing to do. Stay well, until the next installment, Diane

It’s all about seeing the silver lining or the upside to a calamity we have no control over. The question is always “What can I control in all of this?” Glad to see you are back posting Di. Always thoughtful commentary and gorgeous photos to remind us of all the beauty that surrounds us daily if we just look for it!

Happy to see you photographing again for us. Beautiful shots as usual. It’s a special time – that’s for sure…not a great time but how nice to have so much room to roam and to be still.
Thank you Di. Hope we catch up soon.
